HISTORY
Ash isn't super queen nor super macho when it comes to his homosexuality. He's just a guy who likes fashion and boys? Nothing wrong with that, really. But apparently there is. When he was young, he had been taken out of school because of all the bullying. It was one of the things he regretted doing: giving in. With his life at home, he barely got out and met very few people. Neighbourhood kids didn't even want to be associated with the gay kid. Ash grew up rather lonely, but he isn't bitter by it. Instead, he bonded closely with his private tutor and his family of six. In fact, when Ash 'came out of the closet', his parents were not surprised by it at all. It was clear that he liked boys. His parents and three older brothers were supportive of him and defended him when the bashing came.
Ever since he came out, he was more determined than ever to pursue a life of fashion. Once he graduated high-school, he moved out of Syracuse and to New York, living in a small apartment not to close to his fashion school. His family were so proud of his independence, since he was the only one that made it out of the city, that they sent him a butt-load of money to have an extended vacation in Hunter Square.
His parents first heard of Hunter Square and its sprawling art scene. They thought this would be perfect for Ash as he might be able to gain a few connections through the vacation. Ash didn't protest, after hearing about the Square, he jumped at the chance and took about six months off from his school.
Ever since he came out, he was more determined than ever to pursue a life of fashion. [/div]Ash is open-minded. We know this because he's gay! His homosexuality has lead him to learn not to judge and become quit open to new ideas and different things.
Ash is funny. Often times he acts extra Queen-y because of his homosexuality. He loves messing with people. Most of the time, if he imitates a really preppy girl, it can send hysterical laughs booming through walls. Other than gay jokes, Ash can take a joke or two here and there.
Ash is talkative. TALKATIVE. He loves to make you guess and tease you. Ash loves, loves, loves to talk. As a kid, he'd put people asleep. LITERALLY. If you find him over-talking, just tell him to shut the hell up and Ash will listen. He knows that he can get annoying, so you have to be straight forward with him.
Ash is picky. Picky eater, picky driver, picky shopper, PICKY EVERYTHING. He nits and picks at every single detail until he's satisfied. Most say that's why he's doing well in the fashion industry. Just try not to cook for him, he probably won't like it and you'll end up throwing it out.
Ash loves fashion. Let's just say, he has a passion for fashion. He's taking it up professionally, as a stylist. His plan is to become a famous stylist that chooses the clothes of all the hot celebs. Ash had loved fashion from the moment he stepped into his mom's heels. It's no wonder he wanted to take it up professionally.
Ash likes to cook. Because nobody seems to know what he likes, Ash has taught himself to cook. He especially loves baking. Cupcakes, cakes, brownies, lemon squares, you name it! But he doesn't like spending too much time in the kitchen. He's not a wife, you know.
Ash is loyal. Once you're in his heart, your in it forever... even if you betray him. It's a quality that most people don't have. Although it may be hard for Ash at times. For exafmple, once he came out, most of his guy friends abandoned him. He still cared a lot for them, and tried many times to make things better. He's just that kind of guy that will love you forever, if you work hard enough to get to know him.
Ash hates late people. HATES LATE PEOPLE. It's part of the whole picky thing. He hates waiting for people, especially when shit needs to get done! People just don't seem understand that he isn't quite the patient person. In fact, if you're late, don't even bother showing up for his rage.
Ash hates it way people hold utensils. If you're not holding your spoon and fork the way Ash does, it drives him up the wall. UP THE WALL IT DRIVES HIM CRAZY. He just hates it. Totally unsure why, he just doesn't like it. So use caution if you want to ask him out on a date.
Ash loves himself. It may come off a little selfish, but Ash does truly love himself. He gives a big FUCK YOU to all the homophobes and lives his life. His body, his hair, his clothes, he pretty much loves it all. There is no low self-esteem here.
