   Okay, if you don't know already where have you been, Nathan's mother is an alcoholic and is the main reason why he can't take up music. I'll give you a basic run-down of their history, haha. They were a pretty good family at first, Nathan and his mother had a strong relationship, since his dad was in the Navy. But at around the age of fifteen, his father was in a horrific accident that left him paralysed from the waist down and in a wheelchair... not to mention severe brain damage. Grieving, Nathan's mother fell victim to alcoholism. With a lot of sleepless nights, Nathan and his mother's relationship vanished along with any feeling of family. He is now left alone to take care of both of his parents, provide for the whole family (his mother is no longer able to work) and to give up any dreams he had in making it in the music industry.

C: She always encouraged Nathan to think outside of the box and to think creatively, not only in music, but also in everyday life. She helped Nathan tie his shoelace in a different way, and helped him die his hair when he was six. His mother defended him when his father didn't like the shirt he was wearing or how he drew in the bible. She would bring him to the dog store they owned and he would meet everyone in his neighbourhood (including Darcy). The two were inseparable , and they both miss the days when things were simple.
As for a play-by, I have three in mind: Nina Gordon, Paige Turco and Dale Dickey. (I especially like the first two) I'm pretty open to any other play-by, just keep in mind she has to look somewhat like Nathan and to look like an alcoholic xD I hope you don't mind playing an older lady haha. I have a feeling there will be a lot of arguments between the two. But don't be discouraged... how many rock stars will pass up an opportunity to get with a MILF? hahaha xD
